The Whisper of Wind(AR GAME-Optimization)

Game Designer/3D Artist/Music Designer/Programmer

Description:

The Whisper of Wind is a path-planning game based on AR technology for online and offline integrated play. The player's goal is to transport the seed from the birth point to the destination, help it spread to farther places.

WHAT I DID:

  • Designed gameplay and levels for the game

  • Created in-game 3D modeling resources (using Blender)

  • Produced the game's music (using Ableton Live)

  • Participated in the iteration and development of the programming (using Unity)

Super Exclusive(A Board GAME of News Industry)

Solo Designer

Description:

It is a post-simulation board game with themes of collection and market set in a modern city. Each player assumes the role of an editorial manager of a post, targeting to stand out in the industry by recruiting reporters and reporting news through competition.

WHAT I DID:

  • Completed all the design of the game and the output so far.

HELLO WORLD!(Immersive Theater-In progress)

Solo Designer

Description:

"Hello World!" is an offline immersive theater experience accommodating 2 to 8 players simultaneously. Participants take on roles within a gaming company, engaging in collaborative and competitive game development with other players.

WHAT I DID:

  • Completed all the design of the game and the output so far.

Narrative Designer

Description:

’旧介质研究所‘ is a adventure game developed by a college design team centred on four students majoring in game design at Communication University of China. Players will control anthropomorphic artefacts to fight against post-apocalyptic monsters and eventually discover the mystery of the world.

WHAT I DID:

  • Designed several culturally based characters and gave them personalities and story backgrounds.

  • Designed the game's worldview and wrote some of the character dialogue copy for the prologue.

Awfully Deep

Game Designer/2D Artist

SUMMARY:

Deep Uncharted is a puzzle-solving game, with gameplay reminiscent of the popular game Tetris. Enjoy it to the fullest!

WHAT I DID:

  • Based on Tetris, made gameplay modifications and introduced a reverse-building mechanic.

  • Drew art assets for the game by Procreate.

Babysitting Simulator

SUMMARY:

In this game, you will play a super mother who takes care of children while fighting evil forces.

WHAT I DID:

  • Designed the game's story and ending based on the gameplay.

  • Composed the music demo of the game by Ableton Live.

Cheating Dice

Game Designer/2D Artist

SUMMARY:

In this game, you will have the ability of manipulating the outcome of the game by moving two dices in the game area. 

WHAT I DID:

  • Designed all in-game character personalities and created scene, character animation, UI, and other game assets by Procreate.

  • Designed character skills and rules based on the core gameplay."

  • Worked on the partial design of collage art within the game by Procreate and Photoshop.

SUMMARY:

This game's inspiration revolves heavily around duality, such as the contrast between the living and the spirits, escape and pursuit, black and white.

WHAT I DID:

  • Designed the gameplay and maps of the game and built the levels in Unity

  • Composed the game's music and sound effect by Ableton Live.

I Don't Wanna Reincarnation

Your heart hurts just a little bit, and before you can react, you plummet at breakneck speed, clanging into a sea of swaying flowers.

WHAT I DID:

  • Designed the game's narrative and some narrative options 

  • Composed music for the game by Ableton Live.

My Beloved

SUMMARY:

Our creative journey gave birth to a game that weaves a touching tale of a young girl and her feline companion.

WHAT I DID:

  • Designed and built levels for a two-player platform jumping gameplay.

  • Created 2D art assets as part of the design work by Aseprite.

  • Composed the theme music for the game by Ableton Live.

WHAT I DID:

  • Designed the core gameplay of the game based on the jam theme.

Tales of Harmony

SUMMARY:

"Tales of Harmony" is a fantasy adventure game inspired by the imagination of four Chinese college students.

WHAT I DID:

  • Designed some levels of the game.

  • Participated in the logic editing of some levels of the game using RPGMaker.

  • Designed the theme music of the game by Ableton Live.

This is a game about dealing with the mess for the egotistical chef. The player acts as a food quality inspector, who needs to ensure that the food meets the needs of customers while checking the quality of the food.

WHAT I DID:

  • Designed the core gameplay of the game.

  • Designed the dishes in the game.

The Journey of Climate Magi

Game Designer/2D Artist/Music Designer

SUMMARY:

The magi using his power to save the climate. In the game, you can change the weather to help you progress through the levels. However, please note that sometimes abusing the power to change the weather can backfire on you.

WHAT I DID:

  • Designed the core gameplay of the game and created level progression.

  • Designed the game's character personalities and some environmental art assets by Procreate.

  • Designed the music tracks for the game by Ableton Live.

This is a role-playing game where you will take on the roles of various characters from historical stories and witness the process of a painting coming to life, experiencing the historical changes it goes through from its creation to its existence.

WHAT I DID:

  • Designed the character stories in the game that fit with the theme and flow.

  • Designed some of the gameplay elements in the game.
